Jan Bouten
Senior Associate

Jan focuses primarily on Aurora's IT investments. Prior to Aurora, he worked in a sales engineering / business development role as part of the core team building out the European presence of Larscom, a US-based telecommunications equipment manufacturer. Earlier in his career he also ran technical support at a video conferencing startup, and worked in marketing and support roles at Madge Networks.

Jan is currently on the board of MobileMind and serves as observer on the boards of Centice, Nextreme and StrikeIron.

Jan holds a BS cum laude in Software Engineering from Fontys University in Holland, an MS focusing on AI in Human-Computer Systems, from DeMontfort University in the UK and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
