Mobile-Mind and the Hartford Road Café announced today that the historic restaurant is using Mobile-Mind's messaging platform to deliver entertainment news to its patrons. Customers who sign up for the free service receive a weekly notification via an SMS text message to their mobile phone with highlights of upcoming entertainment and specials. The message also contains a link to a wireless website where customers can browse details of the week's entertainment, dinner specials, and upcoming events such as wine tastings and big screen sports broadcasts. Any customer with a mobile phone can receive the notification messages and those with an Internet enabled mobile phone can access the detailed information with their mobile browser.

"We are very pleased to be the first in the area to offer this type of wireless service. We have a wide variety of entertainment and dinner specials that change on a regular basis. Mobile-Mind provided a very simple and cost effective service that allows our customers to stay informed of what's happening at the restaurant. We were up and running in just 10 days," said Chris Morin, co-owner, with his wife Diane, of the Hartford Road Café.
