Dow Corning’s Xiameter Enhances Customer Experience with Chemicals-Specific Solution From HAHT

 

04/14/03 - Raleigh, NC - HAHT Commerce, Inc., the leading provider of Demand Chain Management applications, today announced that Xiameter, the web-enabled business unit from Dow Corning, has gone live with HAHT Chemicals Suite 7.1.  Xiameter’s customers will now benefit from a more effective product catalog, simpler order tracking and improved delivery tracking system.

HAHT’s Chemical Suite is a great example of that evolution.”

Upgrading to HAHT Chemicals Suite 7.1 allows Xiameter to offer improved tools to customers while generating internal cost savings.  These efficiencies are then returned to customers in the form of lowest-base pricing.

The HAHT 7.1 upgrades have allowed Xiameter to offer:

  • Improved “My Accounts” Function:  Upgrades to the My Accounts function, where empowered users create orders and view delivery status, include a new page design and new tabular navigation that allows users to navigate the site quickly and easily.
  • Advanced Product Catalog Functions: Xiameter’s Product Catalog has been upgraded for improved speed and efficiency and now enables users to conduct advanced searches, sort by material number or description columns, and view product details such as typical applications and properties.
  • Updated and Renamed Order and Delivery Status Functions: Advanced searching options for orders and deliveries with a Find Material look-up tool continue to allow users to search orders and deliveries by order or delivery number, material number, purchase order number, and date range.
  • Enhanced Account Status Features: New Account Status features include a Find Invoice capability, for those who may have misplaced order information; an Invoice Status feature that links directly to a customer’s invoice; and a direct link to the Invoice Detail screen from a user’s email.
