Enhancements to Flagship Product Improves Performance, Reduces Size and Weight and Adds a Front Panel Keypad and Display to Simplify Initial Configuration

CARY, NC, September 13, 2005 — Covelight Systems, an innovator of solutions for privacy protection and fraud management, today announced the availability of Covelight Percept 2.5, a new version of hardware and software.

The Covelight Systems Percept Privacy & Fraud Management System is a self-contained appliance that monitors Web application traffic, tracks each individual user, and compares individual user activity with individual and group norms to detect policy violations and suspicious activities as they occur.  It also continuously audits user activity for regulatory compliance, and provides forensic data for incident investigation.
New with Percept 2.5:

• A new platform and software enhancements double the traffic handling performance, allowing Percept to monitor Web applications with sustained traffic in excess of 1,500 HTTP/HTTPS transactions per second.
• The new platform retains the one rack unit height, but reduces the depth and weight by 50% for easier installation.
• An LCD display and keypad simplifies initial configuration by allowing front panel setup.
