InPhonic to Manage Targeted Sprint Online Customer Acquisition Programs

Washington, D.C. – May 18, 2005 – InPhonic, Inc. (Nasdaq: INPC), a leading online seller of wireless phones and service plans, today announced an agreement with Sprint (NYSE: FON) to manage its targeted e-commerce initiatives using InPhonic’s expansive online marketing channels and comprehensive e-commerce platform.   

For Sprint, this new marketing and fulfillment relationship will take advantage of InPhonic’s online expertise to reach more audiences and create a richer online experience for its customers. Sprint will direct targeted marketing campaigns to a Sprint-branded website, powered by InPhonic.  Additionally, Sprint will leverage InPhonic’s methodologies to improve the online purchasing process for the customer.

In support of the Sprint agreement, InPhonic also announced the launch of a new carrier marketing team carved from amongst the ranks of its Wireless Activation & Services Group to support Sprint’s online customer acquisition strategies.  This new team is designed to better assist Sprint by optimizing InPhonic’s wide range of services, e-commerce platform, extensive marketing network, and improving advertising tactics to better suit Sprint’s online initiatives.
