InPhonic Continues Expansion with the Opening of New Office

New Reston Office Focused on Expanding MVNO Services and Product Development

Washington, D.C. – January 13, 2005 – InPhonic, Inc. (Nasdaq: INPC), a leading online retailer of wireless phones and service plans, today announced the opening of its new corporate office in Reston, Virginia, on the Northern Virginia technology corridor. The opening of the new Reston office will provide greater proximity to local technology talent and technical resources, and accommodate growing staff and management from InPhonic’s continued expansion, including personnel hired as a result of the recently announced A1 Wireless acquisition.

The new office will accommodate the growth of InPhonic’s MVNO and product development business units. The office will also reinforce InPhonic’s presence as a technology leader in the Washington metropolitan area, especially in the Northern Virginia technology market where a number of InPhonic’s business partners now reside. The Reston, Virginia office houses approximately 75 full-time employees. The office also houses key management and staff that are focused on the integration of recently acquired A1 Wireless into the InPhonic corporate structure and managing corporate strategic initiatives.

"Due to the company's continued growth and new opportunities, the new Reston office further strengthens InPhonic’s commitment to our clients," says David A. Steinberg, InPhonic’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "The Northern Virginia technology corridor offers InPhonic a great recruiting base from a talented pool of technologists, and an expanded local corporate presence. The additional office shows our commitment to further growth by providing the basis to continue expanding the business over the next several years."
