RadioShack and InPhonic Initiate Online Sales of Mobile Handsets and Service Plans

-- InPhonic selected to deliver sales and fulfillment solutions to online wireless customers --

Fort Worth, Texas and Washington, D.C. – December 14, 2004 – RadioShack Corporation (NYSE: RSH) and InPhonic, Inc., (NASDAQ: INPC) today announced an agreement whereby the consumer electronics specialty retailer is now offering wireless phones and service plans through its online retail presence, www.radioshack.com.

A leading online activator of wireless devices, InPhonic distributes phones and service plans for all of the major wireless carriers, including Sprint and Verizon. InPhonic will operate and manage RadioShack’s online wireless store allowing customers the ability to research and buy mobile handsets and service plans through the Internet. Customers can order direct from a sales representative using a toll-free telephone number provided through the Web site, complete the transaction online using a credit card, debit card or check, or visit their neighborhood RadioShack store with the information they discover on the Web site. RadioShack is regarded as the leading retailer of wireless handsets and services in the United States.
