Homeland Security Industries Association Deploys G-Force™ by MAP ROI for Government Contracting Members

HSIA Members Receive Dynamic Resource Directory for Contracting Partners and Homeland Security Compliance Proposals

STERLING, VA - October 7th, 2004 - The Homeland Security Industries Association (HSIA) today announced the availability of MAP ROI’s G-Force solution to its membership. G-Force is the first integrated, collaborative online system for contract identification, qualification, managing, proposal development and winning government business. With G-Force, HSIA members will now have access to a database containing current and long-term Federal contracting opportunities as well as up to the minute information on available contracting partnerships.

In addition, all HSIA members will be eligible to receive a discount on MAP ROI's flagship subscription services: G-Force Complete, G-Force InformTM, G-Force ProposeTM.

“The G-Force solution has a comprehensive and robust ability to assemble the various federal opportunities of interest to organizations supporting U.S. homeland security efforts, as well as to compile other vendors based upon the type of product or service a company sells, and distribute this information everyday to our membership,” said Bruce Aitken, president of HSIA. “Once they identify an opportunity, members may then choose to utilize the G-Force service to navigate from the proposal creation process through contract bidding and beyond. The G-Force service nicely complements the daily research and reporting on Federal and state RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and grants which HSIA does for its corporate members. G-Force affords our members the ability to go efficiently to the next step in winning contracts and/or grants.”

“Homeland security is a critical issue facing our country today, and organizations like HSIA are extremely relevant to government contractors addressing this issue,” said Christopher K. Stahl, MAP ROI, Inc. founder and CEO. “We are pleased that they have joined the dozens of organizations who have turned to our powerful toolset as the core of their offering to help clients and members succeed in the Federal government marketplace.”

The two organizations also announced that they will be co-hosting two events for Homeland Security executives. The first event will be a seminar for members on the topic of “How to Win Homeland Security Grants” and will be held October 13, 2004 at 666 11th Street NW, Washington, DC, 6th floor from 4:30-6:30 pm in the large conference room of HSIA affiliate member The Computer & Communications Industry Association. The second event will focus on researching contractors and partnering for large-scale projects. This event will be held October 27, 2004 at the Tower Club 8000 Towers Crescent Drive, Suite 1700 Vienna, VA 22182. The time of this event will be 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

About HSIA

The Homeland Security Industries Association (HSIA) is a non-profit corporation established in July, 2002. With more than 400 members, three U.S. offices and four overseas chapters, its mission is to provide a mechanism for government and the private sector to coordinate on a wide range of homeland security issues.

In March, 2003, HSIA was named as the private sector representative on the Department of Homeland Security’s working group on state and local guidelines.

In January 2004, HSIA was named as a member of the American National Standards Institute’s Homeland Security Standards Task Force, which, in May 2004, made a recommendation to the 9-11 commission regarding possible incentives to encourage the private sector to develop homeland security standards and adopt homeland security measures to help safeguard the American public.
