G-Force Users Now Have Continuous Access to over 8000 Sources of Global News, Analysis and Research

STERLING, VA. & CARY, NC, USA (September 16, 2004) - MAP ROI Systems, Inc., and Dialog, a Thomson (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC) business and a leading worldwide provider of online-based information services and integrated information solutions, said today that they have formed an alliance to integrate business news articles and other research collected by Dialog into the MAP ROI G-ForceSM system used by government contractors.

MAP ROI's G-Force is the first end-to-end system for identifying, qualifying, proposing and managing federal, state, local and international government contracts and grants.

MAP ROI is utilizing the Dialog Application Programming Interface (API), a Web Service that enables Dialog's extensive content collection and renowned search engine to be integrated transparently into interactive services such as G-Force, as well as Web sites, enterprise portals, corporate intranets and extranets and software applications.

With the integration of the content supplied by Dialog, G-Force users will now be able to access a continuously updated reservoir of global news, analysis and research drawn from more than 8,000 sources -- including local, national and international newspapers, regional and national business publications, corporate press releases, broadcast transcripts, industry newsletters and trade journals.

The content collection includes reporting and analysis of a wide range of topics relevant to government contractors, such as business and industry news, intellectual property data and reports covering numerous scientific, medical and technical fields.

"This alliance with Dialog demonstrates our commitment to making the G-Force solution the most robust and multi-faceted tool available for government contractors," said Christopher K. Stahl, MAP ROI's founder and CEO. "We are excited about the archived information and up-to-the-minute news that Dialog brings to G-Force, and believe that now more than ever G-Force is an indispensable asset to our customers."

"As one of the world's leading aggregators of content, we are pleased to be able to work with MAP ROI and offer their customers the news and analysis they need to best understand the needs of their government clients, to track competitors and to enhance market awareness," said Charles White, Dialog vice president of alliances. "Articles and reports from a wide array of top-quality information providers are a natural complement to G-Force's extensive databases and workflow management software. Together, we're giving MAP ROI customers a truly one-stop system for both successfully navigating the complex bidding process and then managing those relationships."
