PDBI automating new-member validation to reduce enrollment cycle…

Columbus, OH, June 10, 2004 – Foresight Corporation, the leading provider of advanced business solutions for healthcare, and Pacific Dental Benefits, Inc. (PDBI) today announced an agreement to utilize Foresight’s InStream™ technology within PDBI’s transaction processing system to achieve cost savings by reducing the manual effort required to pre-process files.

PDBI, based in Northern California, is recognized as a leading provider of dental plans. Foresight, located in Dublin, OH, is the market leader in providing transaction processing solutions.

Under the agreement, PDBI will incorporate InStream™ technology from Foresight into their new-member enrollment processing system. Automating validation and response generation with InStream will reduce the manual intervention required to pre-process files. Additional benefits are realized by allowing for earlier invoicing and premium receipt by utilizing InStream’s document splitter and passing on valid enrollments for further processing.

InStream™ comes bundled with a wide range of options to customize the validation experience to best fit any partner community.
