Foresight and SBPA Systems Announce Product Integration Agreement

COLUMBUS, Ohio, January 29, 2004 – Foresight Corporation of Dublin Ohio and SBPA Systems of Houston Texas today announced an agreement to utilize Foresight's HIPAA Validator(R) within SBPA's EC EDI solutions to increase and support authentic, in-depth EDI transaction validation for HIPAA compliance.

SBPA is a leading developer of automated employee benefits claims and administration software for Third Party Administrators, HMOs, Self-Insured Companies, and other insurers that deal with health claim electronic transactions. Foresight is the market leader in providing solutions to assure HIPAA compliance.

Under the agreement, SBPA will incorporate InStream(tm) technology from Foresight into SBPA's Group Benefits Administration System (GBAS) EC EDI modules. GBAS is a fully adjudicating, on-line, multi-user system for health benefit claims administration. The EC EDI modules offer HIPAA required transaction translation into the core GBAS records with sophisticated validation and integration. InStream, a member of Foresight's HIPAA Validator(R) family of products, provides to GBAS a more enhanced and flexible real-time production filter that permits only fully compliant data ( based on all HIPAA required validation levels) to be received and sent. Data which fails to comply with either HIPAA regulations or the business rules of individual insurers is removed automatically with detailed information provided on the specific areas of non-compliance.

"We looked at the alternatives, and none of them exceeded InStream's capabilities. In addition to InStream's unparalleled performance and ease of integration, we were impressed with Foresight's innovation and leadership in the field of HIPAA compliance," said Sam Mooney, Director of Software Development for SBPA. "With Foresight's InStream(tm) technology and our current EC EDI modules, our clients will be assured continued HIPAA compliance on all current and future transactions at a level non-paralleled in the industry."

Robert Fisher, CEO and President of Foresight, said, "By integrating InStream, SBPA clearly gives their GBAS customers additional value. With confidence that transactions will not be rejected due to compliance errors, they overcome an expensive bottleneck in the adjudication and payment process."

SBPA customers can expect the enhanced GBAS EC EDI versions to be delivered the first quarter of 2004.
