DURHAM, N.C.19 June 2003 — TriVirix’ CEO, Rich West, has been elected to serve on the New 2003-2004 Board of Directors of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and to lead the organization through its next year of operations.  The CED has named The Aurora Funds' Jeff Clark as chairman-elect for 2004-2005.  The Aurora Funds, a venture capital firm, is an investor in TriVirix.  Les Bethune, a partner with Ernst & Young LLP, will serve as chairman for 2003-2004

”The CED’s contribution to creating the Triangle’s high-growth company climate has been immense”, said TriVirix’ CEO Rich West. “I look forward to working with its talented board members to continuing the tradition of achievement”.

Monica Doss, CED's president, said the new board brings a diverse spectrum of ideas and backgrounds. She said this year's group includes some of the most exceptional entrepreneurial representation to date.
