Synchris Announces Launch of Significantly Enhanced Privia ® 4.2 Government Contractor Bid Lifecycle Software
New Version Facilitates 'One Click' Download of FSI and INPUT ® Government Opportunity Data; AJAX-based Web Interface is Major Step Forward.
Sterling, VA. – May 1, 2006 – Synchris, Inc., unveiled today a significant new Privia 4.2 upgrade and an enhanced out-of-the-box version of its popular Privia software for enterprise, on-demand subscribers and new customers engaged in government contracts, bid proposals, and task order management.
One major advance under the Privia 4.2 upgrade is the integration of FSI and INPUT ® into the Synchris toolbar, which allows users to download opportunity data identified through these and other leading government opportunity sources with one click into a structured format. FSI and INPUT are subscription-based services used to identify new government business opportunities. This new function of Privia 4.2 facilitates automation of best practices for scoring opportunities based on profitability, win probability and other key criteria, and provides richer pipeline reporting for business development professionals and senior management.
Annie Eissler, Synchris vice president of product marketing, said: "Privia 4.2 gives our clients enhanced tools that set us apart from generic sales force automation tools. None of our competitors can provide anything approaching Privia 4.2's one-click download of FSI and INPUT data, reducing data entry and getting the information government contractors need to see into their pipeline more quickly. Plus, all of the information collected from FSI and INPUT for business development and capture purposes is easily transitioned through Privia to the proposal development team."
One of the most important enhancements in Privia 4.2 is the improved AJAX- based user interface. The new Web user interface virtually eliminates administrative obstacles to deployment of the product. With no need for client downloads or IT involvement, the new Web interface provides casual contributors and teaming partners with quicker and easier access to Privia.
The same easy-to-use tools within Privia 4.2 minimize data entry and provide a glass pipeline to executives. Privia is delivered with complete Microsoft desktop integration and includes document management, teaming partner connectivity, communication with presence detection, configurable workflow, reporting, and comprehensive search capabilities through an easy to use interface. Privia can support team members from various companies working together in real-time for efficient bid response and task order management. The software and commercial terms are scalable to accommodate licensing options from five to 5,000 users.
