Now on Board: Vice Presidents for Product Management and Product Marketing;
Even More Depth in ASP, Government Contracting and E-Commerce Added to Synchris Bench.
Sterling, VA. - March 14, 2006 – Synchris, Inc., announced today that it now has in place vice presidents for both product marketing and product management to support its launch of the on-demand version of Privia® for the government contracting market. A real-time application used by companies to increase government sales, Privia allows government contractors to improve their pipeline management and bid response.
A veteran of the government contracting and e-commerce worlds, Annie Eissler is joining Synchris as vice president for product marketing. Also new to the Synchris team is vice president for product management Scott Hiles, a leading information technologist who compiled a strong background in a wide range of 24/7 ASP operations at Sprint and FOLIOfn, an online brokerage service.
Synchris President and CEO Bill Schrader said: "Synchris is demonstrating its commitment to supporting Privia in unmistakable terms with the addition of such outstanding individuals as Annie Eissler and Scott Hiles. We intend to make even greater strides than we have already in the government contracting space, where much room remains for expansion of Privia's market share. Eissler and Hiles also give us the ability to think in even bigger terms about the opportunities that exist for Synchris."
Annie Eissler will be responsible for Synchris product marketing, e-commerce, and communications. She previously served as vice president for marketing and customer service at Communication Technologies, Inc. (COMTek), a mid-tier government contractor providing communications, managed services, training and staffing for defense and civilian agencies. Prior to COMTek, Eissler was director of e-business for Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), a data warehousing and business intelligence firm, where she had responsibility for design and execution of a travel industry self-service portal that integrated 10 discrete homegrown and commercial off-the-shelf applications. Eissler also served in senior marketing and operations management positions at PSINet, Inc. where she was responsible for Internet connectivity and Web hosting product strategy and marketing execution in international markets, and led the development of the firm's ERP software on-demand product
line. Eissler earned a bachelors degree in political science with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master's degree in international relations from The American University.
Scott Hiles will be responsible for Synchris product management. For nearly three years, Hiles was vice president of development and technical operations at FOLIOfn, where he implemented controls and processes to stabilize the 24/7 on-demand vertical application. Earlier, Hiles spent seven years with Sprint as senior director of engineering for hosting and IP network deployment leading a team of 120 spread across the US to design, scale and implement Sprint's IP backbone and 10 associated hosting facilities supporting a range of ASP services. He began in management with the US Navy as a SPAWAR fiber optic expert and the technical representative and primary editor for the ANSI/ISO FDDI Repeater standard (X3T12). Hiles also is the creator and editor of the Linux open source kernel drivers for X10 powerline signaling, Java Web-based applets for IP based home automation remote control, and a suite of Web-based office automation applications built on Struts/JSP
to reduce paperwork for small businesses. He holds a bachelors and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a masters of business degree from George Mason University.
